Barbecuing is an American Tradition

Besides baseball, nothing says summer like the sounds sizzling, tantalizing aromas and flavors of the delicious barbecue. In fact, according to a recent survey commissioned by Hormel Foods and conducted by Harris Interactive ®, 90 percent agree that suggest respondents2 barbecues in the summer.

Where is the American grill? The study found 89 percent prefer to hold family barbecues in their back yard, compared with 3 percent who prefer a public park or picnic area. Grill is a great way to reunite the family, entertaining friends and family and enjoy summer nights right in your garden!

A few simple tips, courtesy of Hormel Foods, you can make your next barbecue-out even easier:

• marinade musts: Marinating meat adds flavor and tenderization prior to cooking. Each of the marinade should be acid ingredient such as vinegar or wine, oil, like olive oil or canola oil, and seasonings such as herbs and spices. For a non-solution to the mess, try the pre-marinated in a variety of Hormel ® Always Tender ® Pork.

• BBQ in bulk: Do you have leftovers? No problem. Barbecue meals freeze well, and often become more palatable when the sauce and spices are heated at a later date. Once you have lit the barbecue, cook as much as your tank can handle the foods retain their taste of the meals to come. Then the thaw, reheat sauce and add just a delight for the rest.

• Fire a celebration quick cooking means more time with guests instead of the grid, choose a selection of pre-cooked grilled meats, such as Lloyd ® fully cooked barbecue ribs, which reduces the cooking time to less than five minutes. Just heat and eat!

• Decorate your patio: minimal cooking gives you a chance to focus on the details. To make your barbecue spectacular in the mood by hanging lanterns around the courtyard, mixing a cocktail of summer signing and food on the plates colored.

Now that the days are long and the school is more, it's easy to go out and cook dinner on the grill. A relaxing garden barbecue dinner will melt the stress of the day in a row. Your family will love the food, and love the convenience.
