If you want to be able to cook sweets without the negative health effects of refined sugar, honey is a great option. Among other reasons, honey is metabolized more slowly by your body, which means they are less likely to get a sugar "high" after eating something with honey.

Honey can be difficult to cook, however, for several reasons. So many people do not cook with it, because I know how. But once you know how to use honey in cooking their favorite creations, it is not difficult at all to use.

The first challenge that presents is that the honey is easier to return to regular sugar. This problem is usually eliminated by making your cooking or cooking fire, while 'less.

The main obstacle to the honey kitchen is that it is a liquid. Replacing sugar and honey spoil some of the recipes, if you do not grant any excess liquid that honey adds.

Most muffins, quick breads easily, breads with yeast, etc., you can get compensation without any adjustment. Cakes, cookies and some other income, you reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe to account for honey.

Honey is also very easy to use in pies. Since they are already somewhat fluid, you can replace the sugar with honey. If the pie filling seems too thin, just add a little more thickener before you pour into your pie shell.

A Taste of Honey can sometimes be a problem, but usually not. If you make a recipe that you do not want that taste is obvious, there are several things you can try. First of all, to get the mildest honey, you can. Generally, it is a very pale clover honey. (Lighter honey taste sweeter and milder, generally).
